Ilia Kekelidze is a seasoned financial professional with over a decade of experience in private equity, debt capital markets, banking and real estate. Ilia currently serves as a Senior Associate at Georgian Co-Investment Fund where he is managing the fund's capital flow, facilitating transactions, and fostering relationships with investors, financial institutions, and project companies. He has been with the team since its inception, where Ilia played a key role in the initial setup of the fund and in evaluating and leading a number of significant transactions. Ilia’s responsibilities include financial structuring for new and ongoing investments across various jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with cross-border tax regulations.
Prior to his tenure at the Georgian Co-Investment Fund, Ilia worked at the Bank of Georgia in the Debt Capital Markets and Investor Relations departments. He contributed to the successful placement of debt securities on international capital markets as well as raising significant financing for the bank from international financial institutions and commercial banks.
Ilia holds a Master of Science degree in Finance from Manchester Business School.
