Lela Gigiberia has been an integral part of the Georgian Co-Investment Fund since day one, serving as the Chief Accountant for years. In this role, she oversees all accounting operations for the fund and its holding companies, meticulously preparing financial and tax statements while liaising with international auditors. She's the mastermind behind the fund's robust accounting policy, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Her responsibilities extend to stringent control over financial and tax reporting, annual budget preparation, and meticulous oversight of accounting software. With Lela at the helm, financial integrity remains steadfastly preserved.
Before joining Georgian Co-investment Fund, Lela Gigiberia worked at Liberty Bank as the head of the financial department. Before that she worked in various commercial banks. She has experience in finance and accounting across various sectors, including banking and insurance.
Lela Gigiberia holds a master's degree (International Institute of Georgia) in the field of banking, a bachelor's degree in the field of informatics and applied mathematics (Technical University of Georgia), and also holds a financial manager's certificate (Free University of Tbilisi (ESM).
