“Galleria Tbilisi” is listed among three Shopping Centers on MAPIC Awards 2019

Multifunctional Shopping center Galleria Tbilisi is listed as one of the World’s top three Shopping Centers on MAPIC awards 2019, under the nomination BEST RETAIL CITY CENTRE REGENERATION. Listed participants also include City Plaza (Wuppertal, Germany) and Palazzo Corduzio (Milan, Italy).

The  MAPIC Awards jury, composed of leading trade and commercial real estate professionals from renowned companies such as: Sonaesierra,  Sites comerciaux, Benoy, Nike and etc, has unveiled the list of 40 finalists for this year’s awards, from the 10 categories. The winners will be selected by both MAPIC delegates voting in Cannes for projects of their choice and by the jury. The winners will be selected combining delegates’ votes cast on-site (30%) and the jury’s own votes (70%).

The MAPIC Awards are a standard of excellence that reward the retail real estate industry’s best and brightest retailers and projects. Thus, to be nominated among such leaders is already a huge success for the project.

Brief Information about “Galleria Tbilisi”:

Completed in November of 2017 “Galleria Tbilisi” is a modern, multifunctional Shopping Centre, located in the heart of the city, on Tbilisi’s prime high street, Rustaveli Avenue. Implemented by Georgian Co-Investment Fund, “Galleria Tbilisi”  is a truly multifunctional project that includes five levels of retail space 6 screen cinema, a food court, over 4’000 m² of offices, a 78 room midscale select service hotel and an underground car parking with 300 car parking places. The project distinguishes itself with direct access from the Freedom Square underground station and integrated two theatres: The Liberty Theater and the A. Griboedov Russian Drama Theater.

The total investment size of the project is US$ 100 M.
